This is an independent RP blog for Steve Rogers. He is 616 based, but I do have MCU verses.
Any NSFW content will be tagged or under a read more. Mun is 25+.
First interactions are usually awkward and boring, so always feel free to hmu with plot ideas or a meme or two to get things going a little more organically.
I don't accept any god-modding. I control my character, you control yours. Please don't attempt to kill Steve without discussing it with me first-- I'm all up for action threads, but ain't nobody killing my baby.
He's primarily 616 based, but you will see a lot of MCU content on this blog because his face claim is still Chris Evans.

This is mostly because I find it easier to limit the amount of people that I follow to those I truly believe I will interact well with.
Duplicates:
Sometimes I will follow back other versions of my character, but not every time. Please don't be offended if I don't, sometimes it makes me very anxious!
Triggers:
I'm not particularly easily triggered, so these things don't tend to occur to me. I do try to remember to tag things I think might be triggering, but I'm only human and I do sometimes forget. So please let me know if you need something tagged and I will try to remember it in the future.
Face Claim/Icons:
My face claim for Steve is of course the wonderful Chris Evans. All the icons that I use are made by me, so please don't steal them. They take me a long time!
Replies:
I tend to prioritize threads that I have the most muse for, so that I can keep my muse flowing. Sometimes I struggle writing, so I enjoy getting on and just letting myself reply to whatever takes my fancy a the time. This doesn't mean that I don't enjoy our threads, but please be patient with me and I will get there eventually. This is my main account, but I do also run another so can get busy.
ABOUT
Steven "Steve" Rogers was rejected by the U.S. Army during World War II due to numerous health problems. He ultimately volunteered for Project Rebirth where he received the Super Soldier Serum developed by Dr. Abraham Erskine. The serum greatly enhanced his frail body to the peak of human physicality. As the Sentinel of Liberty, alongside his best friend Bucky Barnes and the Invaders, Rogers and others helped the allies win the war, but not before he was lost at sea and frozen in ice in a form of suspended animation for decades. He was thawed out in the modern age to continue the battle alongside his new allies the Avengers. Cap is loyal to no politician or government and instead upholds the "timeless principles of freedom, equality and justice of the American Dream".

SUMMARY : This verse, for the most part, follows 616 canon. Where in the time-line it's set can depend on the thread.
This verse mostly follows up-to-date 616 canon. I am however behind a few issues, but I'm slowly catching up! I'm happy to set any threads in my main verse at any point in recent canon.

SUMMARY : This verse is set within the Cobra Kai Netflix series.

★ MCU VERSE : ★
SUMMARY : This verse follows MCU canon for Steve. The main diversion I follow is that Steve did NOT stay in the past with Peggy.
In this verse, after Endgame Steve returned all of the gems but then he came back to the present without staying behind for Peggy. I will still be portraying him as Captain America, and have a separate verse to accommodate TFATWS canon.
★ TFATWS Verse : ★
SUMMARY : To accommodate Sam becoming Captain America, in this verse Steve just retired from the title.
In this verse, Steve retired the mantel of Captain America and encouraged Sam to pick it up. He will undoubtedly still be working, but not under the Alias Captain America.
MAINS
This is a list of all my mains! I won't have too many of the same character, but I also won't be doing exclusives. This is purely because so many of my close friends write BEAUTIFUL versions of their characters and I would love to interact with them all.
